Treatment Profile - Using a Pendulum & Quad Appliance
This patient, who started treatment when he was 12, is very narrow in both his upper and lower arch. We placed an expander on his maxillary arch and a quad appliance on his lower. These appliances are placed prior to any orthodontic braces. Both the quad and the expander will be worn for approximately 9 months:
